The 'Autism spectrum' is associated with the following

a) having an immediate family member with autism.
b) genetic mutations.
c) fragile X syndrome and other genetic disorders.
d) being born to older parents.
e) low birth weight.
f) metabolic imbalances.
g) exposure to heavy metals and environmental toxins.
h) a history of viral infections.

Backing up to the fork in psychology, where pharma psychiatry replaced analytical psychology in Western Europe and mostly replaced local variations of psychology in other regions.

"1908: The word autism is used to describe a subset of schizophrenic patients who were especially withdrawn and self-absorbed." https://www.parents.com/health/autism/the-history-of-autism/

So, pre WW1 there was an obscure reference to a new concept, 'autism'.

Note that 'schizophrenia' 'evolved' as a concept from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dementia_praecox

 https://www.mentalhelp.net/schizophrenia/understanding/

A lot of the history of pharma psychiatry involves cherry picking trivial events from the history of psychiatry/psychology and weaving them into a narrative that supports the current popular worldview.

There were a vast number of psychological and psychiatric 'camps' in the 19th and early 20th century. Most people who know enough about psychology consider analytical psychology, or some variation of it, to be the legitimate European tradition of the study of the mind. Carl Jung wrote extensively on medieval mystery schools and similar things, and brought those traditions into the 20th century.

Any person can read his writings and decide for themselves if the research he did is correct. In other words analytical psychology has continuity as a tradition in Europe, while pharma psychiatry is more of a corporate / political project, with no real roots, which tries to frame the mind in a way that serves itself, pharma psychiatry, rather than serving legitimate science.

The evidence seems to point to 'autism' and related disorders as being downstream effects of a clan's reaction to mineral deficiencies and toxicities.

There are many types of nutrients. The most basic are elements, or minerals, and vitamins.

Like minerals, vitamins are external substances that the body has found, and now requires, but which the body cannot make on its own. A difference being that vitamins have evolved along a specific path in those creatures or plants which can make them. They are basically 'complex elements' which can be created by some animals or plants, but not by humans. A human has no 'evolutionary motive' to develop the ability to make a vitamin, except when or where that population is deficient in that vitamin, for example if a human population moves from one area to another.

A person can look at the evolution of various creatures and deduce certain things about the development of a nutritional requirement for a particular substance.

Birds forked from the common ancestor with humans quite a long time ago, for example, so looking at their use of nutrients would give some information about the development of a particular substance as a nutrient. Specifically any nutritional need differences between birds and humans which evolved after the last common ancestor would give information about a lot of things.

Long before that there were simpler creatures that tolerated and/or used far fewer substances, going back to the furthest ancestor which fed off probably just a few elements.

So, a person can say that organisms develop with a tendency to use more substances, and that tolerance or use of the simpler substances, elements as opposed to vitamins, are developed in individuals quickly, while vitamins and more complicated substances develop more in groups, and over a longer period of time. In other words an individual, male or female, develops a response to a toxin and passes that quickly to his or her children.

A tolerance or use of a substance that one's ancestors had less or no exposure to must necessarily develop rapidly. In other words there has to be a species wide mechanism to quickly adapt genetically, or an early pre human, geographically isolated species would have bumped into lots of death zones as it expanded.

Also, it's clear that nutritious and toxic substances are on a flexible continuum. what is 'toxic' or 'nutritious' depends to some extent on a creatures recent evolution. For example, birds are not affected by capsaicin, chili pepper, the way mammals are http://www.thepipettepen.com/spice-is-nice-for-birds/

So, at this point item 'g' "exposure to heavy metals and environmental toxins" in the initial list of autism causes above looks like it might be important.

But autism is often diagnosed in children, so item 'd' "being born to older parents" might also be an important clue. Older parents will generally have had more exposure to all substances, including toxins, than younger parents, and item 'a' "having an immediate family member with autism" indicates the children 'caught' something from a parent. Older parents' dna would probably tend to adapt more quickly than younger parents too. A child living with their parents has little reason to adapt dna generally, and little information available for such adaptation. As a person gets older they get more exposure to new substances, more information to input.

Item 'b', "genetic mutations" is probably more useful than the other items.

"When one identical twin has autism, there is about an 80 percent chance that the other twin has it too. The corresponding rate for fraternal twins is around 40 percent"    https://www.spectrumnews.org/news/autism-genetics-explained/ In other words, when two identical twins have autism it manifests differently in each, and the extent to which the fictional disease is diagnosed is less than 80%.

Despite the fact that:

a) Lithium is recognized as an essential mineral in the human body https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composition_of_the_human_body

b) Lithium helps the brain grow and regenerate https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27882645/ and is 'neuroprotective' https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2889681/

c) "The use of lithium as a therapy for 'mental illness' goes back to at least Greek and Roman times, when people soaked in alkali-rich mineral springs to soothe both ‘‘melancholia’’ and ‘‘mania.’’" https://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/28/magazine/i-dont-believe-in-god-but-i-believe-in-lithium.html

Pharmapsychiatry presents lithium as 'its' invention or creation https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/freud-fluoxetine/201908/lithium-carbonate-the-penicillin-psychiatry

Researchers are clearly intimidated by 'pharmapsychiatry' from the thought of doing even the most basic common sense research that would simply show what is already known about lithium, because it would discredit a major part of pharmapsychiatry.

Lithium used as a bath salt, as it was in the centuries before pharmapsych hid that aspect of lithium by claiming it was their psychiatric drug discovery, would reduce numerous social problems, just as lead in drinking water increased them.

Should scientists do honest work on an important and widely ignored nutrient, lithium, or should they yield to pharmapsychiatry, at the expense of many people?

The question is very similar to the question of drug rehabs for addicts.

Drug rehabs do not work. That has been conclusively shown again and again. There is a clever industry built around fudging rehab statistics to make them appear effective, in part because it is a lucrative industry, and in part because many people believe addicts are morally deficient and should be 'mentored' in an environment such as a rehab. Most rehabs assess prospective clients, and try to determine if they are about to stop using drugs on their own. Those that are about to quit on their own, along with those who have above average financial resources, usually receive preferential admission.

Alcoholics Anonymous, on the other hand, is widely known to have real effectiveness, but it is not as much an industry, there is no profit anywhere in it.

Should the public be told that Drug Rehabs do not work and are entirely cash cows?

Should the public be told that lithium is an essential nutrient, and its deficiency is much more widespread than the public is led to believe?

~

One interesting thing about lithium taken in bathwater is that it is the only 'medicine' that tranquilizes a person without any impairment on the rationality of the mind. In this regard it is more like magnesium which has a longer term sedating sort of effect, also without any effect on the rational part of the mind. All other 'medicines' which tranquilize a person have a foreign effect on the body. Despite this and many other indications lithium is an essential nutrient, it is portrayed as a 'psych med', which discourages any research on minimum healthy levels of lithium for non psychiatric people.

If you find a person with melting pot genetics, a typical person, and their lithium level is very low, that person will have obvious deficits. The important thing to find first though is the lithium pathway. Measuring lithium blood levels is like measuring vitamin c levels in the shoelaces to determine if it is deficient.

 In Progress

Note that the so called 'neuroprotective' aspect of lithium is scientific mumbo jumbo to hide the fact that lithium is a nutrient. Many or most essential vitamins and minerals are 'neuroprotective'. If you are too deficient in almost any nutrient you will suffer organic damage including to the brain.  Lithium's primary pharmapsychiatric use is in lending credibility to pharmapsychiatry. Lithium is the only 'psychiatric medication' that is present in all people to some degree, and has been used therapeutically, as hot springs baths for example, for thousands of years. The most offensive part of the scam is in promoting lithium as a pill or capsule, an oral medication, when it is most therapeutic, and least toxic, as a bathing salt. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4063497/

This is a myth that has floated around for some time, and there have been indications over the years that it is true.

The specific myth is that there is a retirement home in Leningrad, or an asylum depending on who you ask, where most of the big policy decisions in the United States are made.

The story starts with J Edgar Hoover, who was supposedly a Soviet agent from the start of his career, recruited by blackmail over supposed homosexuality.

A long series of supposed policy missteps by the United States are attributable to the Leningrad facility, as the story goes.

In the late 1970s Jack Anderson, an investigative reporter, published some secret U.S. documents which referred to Henry Kissinger as a Soviet spy and identified some of the key links between the Leningrad facility and other Soviet and U.S. people.

Long ago supposedly, the asylum had complete control of the U.S.

At this point inmates in the asylum, retired KGB agents mostly, would pass their time making bets involving what they could do.

Putting a Quail or 'Quayle' in a Bush administration was their doing, certainly, though Quayle was indeed uniquely qualified for high office https://www.bauer.uh.edu/rsusmel/Other/Quayle.htm

~This page is not suggesting any person should abruptly stop taking medication for schizophrenia. It is simply pointing out the obvious origin of that fictional disease in the broader context of human history.  In modern society you cannot simply stop taking fictional cures for fictional diseases until you have done enough research on your own to transition safely from fiction to reality.

Schizophrenia has a pretty obvious cause, which many people instinctively recognize but is rarely discussed.

a) Thousands of years ago there were basically just a lot of isolated groups around the planet. Each of these groups formed a sort of whole 'worldview ecosystem' among its members over thousands of years. Within each group was a 'completeness' within their worldview which was derived from the living individuals, just as, for example, an animal is a collection of random seeming individual cells which form a whole new 'complete' entity.

If you graft part of one animal onto another, or one plant onto another, the same completeness does not exist.

b) Today the vast majority of humanity exists with less than a day's delay of receiving fairly direct input from any other 'member' of that 'vast majority'. A person in any major city in the world will receive direct worldview stimuli, in the form of tv, computer, newspaper or whatever, whose origin is a very distant city within the 'melting pot worldview'. This is the daily seed of schizophrenia distributed widely.

So, between these two points, a) lots of complete isolated worldviews thousands of years ago, and b) one rapidly metastasizing melting pot worldview today but with a few remaining remote still scattered surviving isolated remnants from thousands of years ago, what happened?

https://www.medoane.com/joseph-campbell-conspiracy-sub-culture/

https://www.wnyc.org/story/dr-joseph-campbell-inward-journey-schizophrenia-and-mythology/

One of the most important things to recognize is that when one society consumes another there are incompatible elements. You cannot graft an apple tree onto an orange tree and get both apples and oranges that grow in both cold and warm climates. Melting pot societies are a long process of culling competing sides of various qualities until the 'incompatibilities' are gone. By looking at past consolidations you can see that these incompatibilities persist many thousands of years. The more complex the mix, the more 'melting potted' the society, the longer it takes.

India is one of the best examples of a wide mix of people melting potted for a long time. When they had 'kings' they were far from tribal consolidation, but when the British threw a wrench in they became even much further still.

Any of the pacific peoples from Asia east are examples of rapid consolidation of a small number of mixes within an environment with space to expand.

The lesson is that melting potted people must separate into entities that allow some tribal retreat or there will be a continuing loss of a lot of 'better' attributes because they are associated with 'weaker' groups. The 'dominant' groups are creating future vulnerabilities at the genetic level through colonial force.

Is there some new 'social consciousness' or something that counteracts this? There isn't.

 ~

Anybody who takes vacations or has spent time alone in places without input from others will eventually notice cognitive phenomena caused by 'the melting pot'. These phenomena are a local version of schizophrenia, but observable by an individual in group actions or reactions rather than vice versa, though evidently some are much more susceptible. Susceptibility appears to be due to a variety of factors, nutrition, energy use, independence in interpreting stimuli vs the 'group mind' some people, especially youth, are more prone to, genetics, etc.

So basically schizophrenia is simply the lack of synchronization between a specific individual and the broader group which is interpreting the dissynchronization as a disease.

In fact the melting pot is best defined as a collection of dissynchronizations. One very trivial of those, schizophrenia, is magnified, cultivated for various reasons.

The Zipper archetype

This is a melting pot archetype which helps a person understand schizophrenia and some other things.

If you were to take a newborn child and drop that child in a place where no humans exist, allowing some way for the baby to get milk etc, the result would be a person who had no psychological conflicts at the species level whatsoever. The person would have a lot of issues with manners probably, and wouldn't speak a common language, but he or she would be 'extremely psychologically healthy' to a degree that does not exist in any melting pot.

In fact that kind of health is not even visible to the melting pot mind.

One step up, if that newborn were born in a longstanding old indigenous society which was fully consolidated, then all the members of that society died in a volcano, except the direct ancestors and siblings, again an unusually healthy individual psychologically, some volcano trauma perhaps but a person with a complete worldview and a facility for adapting their worldview almost instantly. Just a tiny bit more psychologically frail than the previous.

One more step up. Same kid but no volcano. The child learns within a well developed indigenous society which has thousands of years of isolation with no input from other compatible sub species worldviews, other types of humans. You have now a child that is far healthier psychologically than anybody in any melting pot could ever be, though a little slower than the previous examples.

Now suppose you have two such children, each raised in a separate isolated indigenous society thousands of miles apart.

Each of the two has their own complete, but mutually antagonistic, worldview with the only local contradictions to their respective worldviews coming from generally less dangerous species. So the two are 'kings or queens of their realm', subordinate only to tribal hierarchies like age etc. There is nothing within their realms which can crumble their worldviews, as long as their tribal group remains geographically isolated.

If you know enough about their societies you could draw a developmental map using any developmental standard you like, as per any developmental psychologist you like.

Now suppose a third child like that, a fourth etc. And you put the bunch of these now adult people with complete worldviews in a cage together, a city.

Your developmental map now has no value, except as a vague guide, to the extent development is social i.e., to a large extent.

The children of those people, if you dropped 50% males and 50% females, would have to start the process of tribal consolidation from zero. There would be no generally accepted set of developmental steps aside from those that existed before the various groups diverged, ten thousand years previous or whenever, i.e., genetic commonalities that affected development of their minds.

At this point if you dropped a pharmapsych 'doctor' in the mess he or she would be ecstatic. 50% of the population has severe schizophrenia, the rest mild.

The new consolidation, which is now starting from zero, is the process of each developmental step finding a way to mesh with those of the other inmates of that city.

If you gave each developmental aspect a number, for example, and a range, e.g. quality 1 develops from level 1 to 10, the hodgepodge would sort itself out over thousands of years. But until then you would have utter confusion as you would have descendants of tribal group 'a' which reach maximum level 10 of development in 'quality 2' before they learn to speak, alongside descendants of tribal group 'b' which have no tribal history of passing level 5 in 'quality 2' development because they develop quickly in competing quality '3' or whatever.

The net effect, compared to a consolidated tribal society, is a melting pot mess of gears whose teeth spin at the wrong speed, a zipper that is 10% up on the left side and 30% down on the right side.

The nature of various developmental steps available to a species is always zero sum. If you add 5 points to one quality you take 5 points from another. Ultimately a virus or a mouse has the same balance as a person, and any two groups within a species likewise. It is only worldview that prevents some people from perceiving that.

Medicinal Schizophrenia

Like anything, schizophrenia has a positive aspect and negative aspect, aside from the fantasy 'positive' and 'negative' 'symptoms' used within the popular fictional 'disease' paradigm.

Because schizophrenia popularly is called a disease, a negative thing, you would first look for its balancing aspect in the 'opposite of disease'. In other words the selling of schizophrenia as a disease initially involved a reaction to 'something', and that 'something' would have been the opposite of what it was to be sold as, so you would look for a medicinal or 'counter disease' aspect.

Schizophrenia serves the obvious purpose of bringing together competing worldviews so that 'their teeth mesh', but nature never leads to a complete dead end which sacrifices individuals for a group. Melting pots do that but basic nature does not, so there is obviously a further value to schizophrenia.

Anybody who is familiar with enough people who have been labeled as 'schizophrenic' notices that schizophrenics are sensitive to certain subtleties that others generally are not.

Some years ago I met a woman who had a lot of diagnoses, she was suffering from an endless list of real issues and also fake diseases which doctors added on. I was having a conversation with her when, in the middle of the conversation, she said something that would be a classic 'schizophrenic comment'. But because she said it in the middle of a fast conversation, and I was paying attention to what she was trying to say, I knew what she meant just as quickly as she said it. If she had made her schizophrenic comment in the slightest way out of context of the fast conversation it would have been completely unintelligible, meaningless and 'evidence of a delusion'. As it turns out her 'irrational comment', which involved something she observed in the past, pointed to a sort of 'sense' which is ignored by most people. I only know about it because of her brief 'schizophrenic' or delusional comment, but it is now a valuable sense I can develop because I am aware of it.

The evidence seems to be that while schizophrenia is among the many diseases which are unpleasant from both sides, it does have a more productive aspect than most 'diseases'.

This page will look at most of the possible scenarios involving the disappearance of a young Native woman in Alaska, in the United States.

All of the scenarios involve, to some extent, manipulation by melting pot authorities of the worldview of the Native population in that region, and for that reason this page is in the Weltanschauungskrieg section.

~

Background

1) Wales Alaska is a Native village some miles west of the furthest west major white settlement town on the south side of the Seward peninsula in Alaska. Most people get there probably by snow machine in the winter and 4 wheeler 'atv' in the summer.

2) Around 2017 a boat from Wales capsized with two young men. One of the disappeared was a relative of Florence Okpealuk. http://www.nomenugget.com/news/coast-guard-suspends-search-boaters-missing-near-wales

3) Another young woman disappeared in Nome some years ago and was found near where Florence disappeared. She had been raped and killed by a police officer. When that happened there was severe hesitation by the police to arrest the officer, despite the young Native woman having last been seen being 'arrested' by a police officer who never brought her to the police station. https://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/ex-police-officer-on-trial-in-alaska-killing/

4) In the 1990s, when Florence was a child, a kayaker from the former East Germany landed in Wales on an adventure trip around the world. Florence remembered being told various things about him. Several people talked to that East German as he was passing through Nome waters, including me.

5) A number of comments about the case were made by me on a 'web sleuth' website. All comments which were critical of the FBI handling of the case, along with most other comments giving background on the disappearance and related cases, were removed from the website by moderators. One deleted comment, relative to this page, pointed out simply that the motive of the FBI in being involved in the search was entirely public relations. The significance of this will be explained further down this page.  https://www.websleuths.com/forums/threads/ak-florence-okpealuk-33-nome-31-aug-2020.541633/

6) There are a lot of suicides and semi suicides among indigenous people anywhere they are being crushed by a conquering society, and that region is no exception. 'Semi suicides' refers to deaths that are not counted as suicides, but are the direct result of a suicidal impulse.

7) Historically there have also been a lot of murders of indigenous people in any colonialized area, and again that region is no exception. One high profile killing involved the white father of the person in charge of the search for Florence Okpealuk. He had beaten a Native elder to death with a walrus bone, and gone on to have tremendous financial success in that area buying things from Natives and selling them alcohol. Both he and his son, the person in charge of the search, are decent people, same as anybody else, but the net effect of such 'Lawrence of Arabia' antics is the destruction of indigenous sovereignty. Something that is easily visible and widely promoted by the United States.

8) Although the FBI has historically been heavily involved in the forced assimilation of Natives in the United States, today it is Homeland Security which primarily handles that. There have been, and still are, aggressive U.S. projects intended to push forced assimilation of Natives. Most of these projects are highly secretive, like the Statewide 'drug task forces' which would operate in indigenous frontier areas, but their footprints are often very visible. The 'drug task forces' had little or no connection to anti drug projects but were involved in other things, including projects which protected specific assimilation efforts.

9) Colonialization and conquest happen in broad stages. a) Initially there is usually some sort of military defeat. b) Then a subjugation phase where the conquered tribes are 'shown who is boss', often through widespread abuse. This occurs around the world and is not unique to any country. c) Then a reconciliation phase where the conquered are given positive reinforcement, such as gifts, political power, etc, in exchange for further surrender. The FBI's showy public display of interest in the Florence Okpealuk disappearance was a stage 'c' way for the U.S. government to pretend it had Native interests among its concerns. Her disappearance was widely viewed as an obvious suicide, but the FBI sent several agents to pretend they were interested in an investigation.

10) Florence was camped on West Beach, a mining area where generally most, or all, of the people who camp are male white or whiteish miners. That town had recently prohibited camping on certain beaches after a tv show drew a lot of campers to the town to mine. The tv show crew has a reputation in the town for bedding Native young women and drawing young Natives into working with the tv people.

11) Historically Natives are not supportive of gold mining and most Natives in that town have avoided mining even when they had the opportunity to make a lot of money. I was camped for several years a mile or so from where a Native friend lived, was aware of significant gold near him, offered to help him learn to mine, which would have increased his income substantially, and he always politely declined. He died of a semi suicide, a drunken accident on his atv/4 wheeler.

12)  A big part of coerced assimilation of indigenous people in the United States involves drawing them into a corporate framework, a western European design. A healthy indigenous society has very little stratification, and by luring Natives into accepting stratification amongst themselves, a corporate framework, they are more easily led into accepting their stratification as a group relative to another group. In a healthy, consolidated tribal society, any individual is capable of instantly filling almost any function in that society, with the exception of specialized functions which have not yet been fully consolidated. This is mentioned elsewhere on this site as it relates to work boats. On a purely indigenous fishing vessel there is a vague hierarchy by age or experience, but any individual will be able to fulfill any function on the boat if needed. Corporate or 'melting pot' boats are quite different, and rely on coercion and stratification to be productive.

13) Offshore where Florence 'disappeared' there had been a massive offshore mining vessel called the Bema some decades previously. The Bema was known for having extracted a vast amount of gold, but most of the stories told about the Bema involved the various clever ways people working on the boat would steal gold from the corporate operators. If you try to discuss the Bema with ten former employees in the town, within 5 minutes nine will start telling funny stories about 'other people' stealing gold.

14) After the military has conquered a region, and after priests and others have softened up, or terrorized, the indigenous population, local police are left with the job of coercing the Natives into the final steps of joining the conquering society as 'deficient' or 'lesser' members. They organize the social habits of the conquered people, using explicit and implicit threats, so that fear of the police involves a transference of the fear any specific individual may have experienced from somebody within their clan. Much like a hostage taker or kidnapper who tries to gain the sympathy and support of his or her victim, the police are trying to get the Natives to identify in a role as children, relative to the authorities pretending to fill the role of parent. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_syndrome The next step in the progression is transferring that 'parent function' onto melting pot politicians.

15) An interesting blog post at https://trudysobocienski.com/2021/05/06/chronology-but-my-interpretation-is-only-my-opinion/

"Florence Okpealuk was in a romantic relationship with a close relative of one of the Nome Nugget Newspaper’s long-time employees – who also:"
"Works in administration at the Nome State Troopers Office.'
"Is the Chief of the local Tribe,"
"and, 1st Vice Chair of Sitnasuak Native Corporation."

Obviously a genuine chief of any local tribe would not be employed by a U.S. agency or a U.S. 'tribal corporation', but 'occupation chiefs' are a feature of colonized societies, a step in their path to assimilation or sovereignty.

Anyway, this would explain why some people were suspicious of her disappearance, but it leaves unanswered why she was living on west beach. Was she trying to leave a relationship? Why was she unable to find a place to stay in town?

A Native woman going to camp on West beach is such an unusual thing that the obvious first appearance is of suicide.

16) When I was in Nome about two years before she disappeared I met a young lady that I believe was her, and it appeared she was being used informally by some group, probably law enforcement.

A lot of young Natives are maneuvered into a desperate situation then pushed into a 'social' group which serves some more powerful interest, usually law enforcement. My best guess at the time was that was her situation.
